Battered Chicken Strips Pakora RecipeWe will use chicken breast and cut it into thin strips to eliminate marinating and reduce cooking time. Ingredients1. Skinless boneless chicken breast: 1 (8oz) 2. Besan Batter - Traditional: 2 Cups
Method1. Prepare Chicken Cut chicken so that it is no more than ¼" thick. The fillet can be any length and width. 2. Prepare batter Stir in ginger powder and garlic powder 4. Preheat Deep fryer to 350º F 5. Dip chicken strip in the batter one at a time and fry for 3 minutes. Continue till all the chicken has been fried. These are now par-fried chicken strips. Let them cool till they have come to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator or freeze them. 6. Preheat Deep fryer to 350º F. 7. Refry fried chicken strips for 3 to 4 minutes till the batter is golden brown. |
