Bhel Puri RecipeBhel refers to vegetables, while Puri refers to Paapri. You can add or delete any items in the Bhel. Don't mix the Chutney and wait too long to serve. This may cause the Paapri to get soggy. Ingredients1. Red Onions: ½ cup diced Peeled and about ¼" diced 2. Plum Tomatoes: ½ cup diced Washed, cored, water and seeds removed, ¼" diced 3. Boiled Russet potato: ½ cup diced Peeled and ½" diced 4. Canned Garbanzo beans (Chickpeas): ½ cup Rinsed and Drained 5. Fresh Cilantro: ¼ Cup chopped 6. Fresh Peppermint: ¼ Cup chopped 7. Serrano: 1 Chopped Washed. Remove seeds and membrane to reduce heat 8. Puffed Rice: 3 cups Broken and crushed 9. Paapri Chips : 1 Cup Broken 10. Tamarind Chutney : 3 Tablespoons 11. Green Chutney : 3 Tablespoons
Method1. Combine items 1 through 7. Toss well 2. Just before service, add Puffed rice and Paapri. Toss 2. Pour Chutneys. Toss and serve |
