Vegetable Pakora Fritters RecipePakora are similar to fritters. There are four steps Step1 Choose vegetables to be fried.Most common vegetables are potatoes, onions, eggplant, and cauliflower. When preparing vegetables, the thickness should not exceed ¼" Potatoes should be washed and cut into ¼" thick slices Cauliflower florets should be halved Onions should be cut into ¼" thick rings Eggs plants should be cut in ¼" thick slices Step 2. Choose batter from one of the following optionsStep 3: Par fry battered vegetables1. Preheat Deep fryer to 350º F 2. Dip vegetables in the batter and introduce to the hot oil. Fry for 3 minutes. Continue till all the vegetables have been fried. These are now par-fried vegetables. Let them cool till they have come to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator or freeze them. Step 4: Finish fry battered vegetables1. Preheat Deep fryer to 350º F. 2. Bring par fried vegetables to room temperature if stored in refrigerator or the freezer. 3. Fry par fried vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes till the batter is golden brown |
