Spinach smoothie for aging vision Recipe

Spinach contains Lutein. Green Bell peppers contain Vitamin C. Carrots provide Carotene. Tomatoes provide Lycopene. Flaxseed meal adds Omega 3.

 

Ingredients

1. Spinach leafs washed and cut up: 1½ Cup
2. Green Bell Pepper: ½ Cup washed and cut up
3. Shredded carrots : ½ Cup
4. Tomatoes washed and cut up: 1 Cup

5. Flax seed meal: 1 Tablespoon
6. Fresh cilantro (Dhania): ¼ cup washed and cut up

7. Fresh Ginger chopped: 2 teaspoons
8. Fresh lemon juice: ½ teaspoon
9. Water: ¾ cup
10. Salt to taste
11. Cayenne pepper powder to taste

 

Method

Add all the ingredients and blend in electric blender or a food processor for about 30 seconds. Adjust salt, peppers and lemon juice to taste.
